Becky Garlena

Becky is a research specialist with the Hatfull lab. Her primary responsibilities include sequencing the hundreds of actinobacteriophages found by students across the country in the SEA-PHAGES program.  Becky is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a degree in Biological Sciences.  Following graduation, Becky worked in the Stronach lab.  Her expertise includes molecular biology and bioinformatic techniques.
