Brenden Johnson

As an undergraduate in the Hatfull Lab, I am mainly focused on the annotation of phage genomes, including preliminary quality control for incoming annotations from the SEA-PHAGES program. I am also involved in isolating phages on mycobacterial hosts. 

Brenden is a member of the class of 2022, majoring in molecular biology with a focus on cellular and development processes. In the future, he plans on attending graduate school to pursue a career in the research of evolutionary biology.
