Julia Malnak

Julia is a member of the Class of 2023, majoring in Computational Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Studio Arts. She plans to attend graduate school in the future.

Currently, she is identifying M. smegmatis genes that are important for successful infection and replication of clinically useful phages. Her experiences in the lab also include developing and testing prophage detection software.
