Katie was a research associate studying determinants of phage susceptibility of mycobacteria and how phages recognize their mycobacteria host cells. Katie’s previous project studied mycobacteriophage replication and partitioning systems, and prophage-mediated defense systems.
She earned her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017.
